FAILURE

Experiencing a failure is a common thing. Disappointed and sad…but don’t get carry away. Don’t be afraid of failure, because if you fearing failure, then you are defeated even before you are going to war.

PLEASE ASK YOURSELF THIS QUESTION EVERYTIME YOU END YOUR WORKDAY

Do ask yourself this question every time you end your workday. “What have I done for the company today?” If you started having difficulty answering it, please consider take some days off and take a rest. After taking your day off, please focus your attention back to your job more intensely.

PRACTICE SAYING “PLEASE” & “THANK YOU”

Practice using the word “Please” and “Thank You”, including to office boys and parking attendants.

Say it to all the people whose we often interact everyday, regardless of their ranks or positions.

STAY COOL, ALWAYS!

It doesn’t mean that angry is forbidden. Get mad once a while, it is needed sometimes, but don’t get angry everyday.

If that is being done too often, it would become less and less effective.

LOOK FOR FRIENDS & NOT ENEMIES

Look for friends, not enemies. Most of us would agree that if we have many friends, life would be healthier, easier, and happier.

Usually during bad times, at the end friends would help. Once again, look for friends and be a good friend.

DEBATING

Learn to listen to others and accept the view of other people if you would agree so.

Be a gentleman and avoid lengthy stupid argumentation. Don’t ever think that what you know is the truth. Never show your emotion while debating.

NEVER GIVE UP

Never, ever, ever give up on whatever which you are trying to achieve as long as it has a chance to succeed.

BE A ROLE MODEL

The easiest thing is to criticize others, and if we ourselves could not behave as we told others, then you have invented a rule so called double standard. Hence, the best thing is to set a good example without having to preach anything.

SUBORDINATE

If you already having subordinate(s), help them to excel. Never, ever claim their idea(s) to be yours.

WORKING OVERTIME

If you happen to have to work overtime with your boss, make sure you offer yourself to take the most difficult part of the job and go home the latest. Offer your superior to go home earlier and do the rest of the job as best you could.

IMPROVEMENT IDEA

If you happen to have an idea to improve work system or whatever improvement at your work environment, please ensure that the idea is submitted with all possible alternatives, including each respective analysis and your recommended choice of solution.

Submitting idea without a clear solution would only sound as a criticism.

WORK & PRAY

Pray as taught by your own religion or believe as if everything would depend on God. However, at the same time, work as hard as you could, as if everything would depend on how hard you tried.
